The American Alpine Club Northern Rockies Section Annual Moondance will be held the evening of 26 and 27 of October 2007 at the Twin Sisters Group site in the City of Rocks National Reserve in Idaho. It is open to all members, non members and ex members.

The main event is a BBQ planned on the evening of Saturday, 27 October, and burgers & BBQ will be provided. BYOB and a side dish if you want.

The Twin Sisters group site is located in the heart of the Twin Sisters climbing area. If you’re driving South, through the Twin Sisters, it’s located on the left (East) side of the rode, opposite the Twin Sisters formation. Easy access to much climbing, including the classic “Barf Crack” (short walk from the campsite).

At the Group campsite there is room for several tents and up to 35 people. There are picnic tables, a grill, and a vault toilet and should be plenty of parking.

Come join the Northern Rockies section chairs, past and present, for a weekend of socializing, and, maybe even some climbing. Bring your bathing suit for the hot springs in case you want to soak.

If you need a campsite, want to camp in the group site, or have questions please RSVP to: Brian.Cabe@atk.com.
