  • Brad Brooks: Castle Rocks State Park Climbing Management Plan: Potentials for BCA involvement and recommendations for the plan.
  • Dusty: Review of current Climbing Management Plan/Raptor monitoring. Idaho Fish and Game involvement (maybe $$) in our monitoring and public outreach actions.

Bring in any outdoor gear you’d like to sell. For any items that sell, 10% goes towards the YMCA Climbing Programs.

Boise State Buck Off Climbing Competition

Stay in town on the 28th and support your local climbing comp!

Go big and challenge your friends to see who can climb the hardest at Boise State University’s annual Buck Off Climbing Comp.

Climbers will be judged on a red point format during the all day climbing festival and 5.10 shoe demo.


Event Sponsors: Boise State University Outdoor Program, Asana Packworks, 5.10, Mountain Hardwear, Core Concepts, Metolius, Nicros, ESH, Sterling, Black Diamond, and many more.
Location: Boise State University Student Recreation Center
Date: Saturday February 28, 2009
When:
  • Check in for category 20 minutes before start time
  • 8:30 Check in/ On-site registration
  • 9:00 Youth Category Starts (9-11 climb)
  • 10:00 Beginner Category Starts (10-12 climb)
  • 12:00 Intermediate Category Starts (12:00-2:00 climb)
  • 1:30 Advanced Category Starts (1:30 – 3:30 climb)
  • 3:30 Finals and raffle
Win: Lots of really great raffle prizes donated by big name manufacturers and local businesses
Cost: $25.00 with pre-registration at Outdoor Program (pre-registration deadline  2/27)
