Boise Climbers Alliance, BSU Outdoor Program, and the Access Fund presents

Black Cliffs Adopt-A-Crag 2007

DATE: Sat, Sept 29

TIME: 10am-5pm

LOCATION:   Populace / Tall Cliffs parking lot.

Volunteers are encouraged to meet at the BSU Outdoor Program and then
carpool over to the Populace Wall parking lot.  Limited parking
makes carpooling a necessity for a successful event.

Adopt-a-Crag is about giving back to climbing areas, like the Black
Cliffs, that we use on a regular basis. Participants will help maintain
the access trail systems, pick up trash, prevent unwanted erosion and
learn about the future of the Carbody Canyon climbing area. Volunteers
will be organized into work teams and then head to different crags to
work on the trail system and clean-up the climbing area.  The
Boise Climbers Alliance and the Outdoor Program will utilize donated
lumber, rebar and tools for the Adopt-a-Crag project.

Volunteers should dress for trail work, and bring work gloves,
appropriate extra clothing, lunch and a water bottle.  Water will
be available for refills.

Volunteers are are encouraged to bring any of the following tools:

- shovels

- pulaskis

- sledge hammers

- pick axes
